Dr. Kirsten von Bergmann is a senior scientist in the Department of Physics at the University of Hamburg, Germany. Her research focuses on scanning probe methods and non-collinear magnetic order. After meeting Kirsten at the 2023 KPS Spring Meeting, we invited her to join our QNS ASPM Workshop along with other distinguished researchers where they shared the latest research and presented the results in the field of STM. After the talk, female scientists of QNS gathered with Kirsten for coffee at the HUB. She talked about her inspiring story and career as a women in science, particularly physics.
