2018 Excellent National R&D Performance
'The Ministry of Science and ICT' and 'Korea Institute of S&T Evaluation and Planning' (KISTEP) annually announce 100 excellent national R&D performances recognized for their scientific and technological development effects and economic and social impacts.
This year, they examined approximately 61,000 research projects endorsed by the government and finally selected 100 projects.
QNS' research paper titled 'Reading and writing single-atom magnets' published in Nature in March 2017 was selected as one of the 100 excellent national R&D performances and even top 12 cases among these 100 performances. The top 12 cases are currently nominated as candidates for the government prize as well.
