Digital Communications Specialist

The Digital Communications Specialist position offers an exciting opportunity for the right candidate who is enthusiastic about digital literacy and public relations to engage the public with cutting-edge quantum science at one of the world-leading research centers in Korea. Our team is close-knit and mutually supportive. Our working language is English because 50% of our team is Korean and 50% come from five continents. Requirement:

• English and Korean language proficiency at professional levels: you will need to be able to communicate, write, and complete official documentation independently;
• Website maintenance/ development (WordPress & Wix) & Google Analytics: you will need to maintain our current websites and develop event websites
• Managing accounts of software & IT services (G-suite, Dropbox, Smartsheet, Zoom, etc.)
• Social Media: by working with our communications team and science content volunteers, you will be in charge of posting #QNSscience on all active platforms and tracking audience engagement
• Hire vendors to produce digital & print collateral materials (graphics, videos, photos, brochures, reports, signage, etc.) and animations

Soft skills:

• Strong communication skills
• Teamwork and collaboration
• Time management and project management

Desired:

• AWS experience
• Experience in supporting events with teams
• Entry-level with a few years of experience
• Natural science background is preferred but not required
• Design skills (graphic design knowledge, video editing)

Employment Condition:

• Contract period: 1-Year (yearly renewable position)
• Salary: Based on our internal salary regulation; depends on your experience
