Career Coffee with Eva Metzger

In this meeting, we had the opportunity to meet Eva Metzger. She shared her professional journey, detailing her transition from a background in civil engineering to a career as a patent attorney. We learned that a patent attorney is a specialized legal professional who assists clients in obtaining and protecting patents, with a focus on intellectual property law. Their work includes drafting patent applications and managing related legal disputes. We found it particularly interesting to learn about intellectual property and patents, as well as the potential career paths available to individuals with a scientific or technical background.
