While there has been significant progress, with more representation and programs in place encouraging girls to pursue STEM fields, challenges remain. Issues like gender bias, the underrepresentation of women in leadership roles, and the difficulty of balancing work-life demands still need to be addressed. Mentorship initiatives and supportive networks are helping to bridge this gap, but they can only go so far without the active support of workplaces.
